Nowadays I give private lessons as well as group teaching. Nowadays my time with yoga is mostly centered in folk high school with styles of klassic hatha yoga and astangayoga. Yoga, together with treating people, has given me perspective in understanding the entirety of a well-functioning human being and body. If you want to take more responsibility of your own (well-)being, acquire methods for working your body on your own, I can provide your with tailor-made yoga programs, and guide you through the exercises. The contents of a lesson may vary from calming the mind to the basics of meditation to strenghtening the muscles and mobility. As you wish. Differences between yoga styles: Course contents vary a lot, depending on the needs and wishes of the groups. In the astanga basic group the focus is on learning the basics of the technique. In the intermediate group the teaching is more personal, since the basics are already known. It is thus easier to focus on the problem areas of one's own body and put the stretch where it's needed. On the classic yoga lessons this kind of personal, in-depth guidance, is rarely used. During the classes it is possible to concentrate, according to wishes, on the most typical problem areas (the neck-shoudlers area, the lumbar region) and work on their mobility and blood circulation. Compared to astanga, the asanas and exercises are easier. When working the body, it is desirable that one does get sweaty or at least warm.
